There are many companies referring to their products as Sportfence or some derivative thereof. We are making a change in our name so that we may remain the highest quality and highest integrity of representation and so to separate ourselves from the staleness and no longer unique terminology, our company is now to be known as Best Portable Fence Company.

How To Shop for a Sport Fence or Crowd Control Fence

Is it only the price?  
If it’s the lowest price you are looking for, you may want to consider trying Home Depot and purchase rolls of plastic mesh. With a bit more work with installation, it may do the job at a much lower price.

Ask for references:
Sportfence has never had an unhappy customer due to quality. Sportfence encourages you to ask for names of our customers in your area.

Will you regret not doing the proper research based on the cost?
We think you will. Sportfence takes many calls from Athletic Directors, Booster Clubs and schools who purchased other products and soon realized that quality should have come FIRST with such an investment.

Is it a one shot purchase or are you investing your money?
Sportfence is an investment that will last for years. It will always have value. No matter how used it is, it will always be worth money.

How long will the fence last?
With proper care and maintenance, your fence will last long after your grade schooler has graduated from college. We will help maintain your fence when the inevitable wear and tear begins to occur.

Quality of the components:
All of our components are made in the USA by reputable companies. They also take pride in the fact that their product is being used on Sportfence.

Quality of the PVC:
There are many different grades of PVC. All of our  PVC components (mesh and fittings) are made from the whitest, shiniest and highest quality PVC available. It is guaranteed for 5 years not to powder, chalk or deteriorate due to UVs. All our components have  Titanium Dioxide that protects the fence from ultra-violet rays.

We own all of our molds and dies.  No other fence company is authorized to use our molds and dies. So, when you buy a Sportfence, you will know that the quality is unique to your fence.

Our molds are held and used exclusively by Barnes Plastics. We own a mold for each of the five fittings on our fence.

Quality of Manufacturing:
Experience: We have been making the same fence (with improvements over the years) since 1987.

Time spent manufacturing each fence: We do not mass produce our fences. Our factory manufactures about 70 fences per week with pride.

Extra features: Our breakaway mechanism is technically superior. Our male breakaway is beveled to reduce surface on surface and thereby guarantee a dependable foot when activated. All internal parts of the breakaway mechanism are anti-corrosive including a chrome swivel, aircraft grade cable and a copper ferrule to inhibit any reaction with salt water.
The last step in our manufacturing process is to attach 14 nylon zip ties around the perimeter of the fence for extra strength.

Quality of Service:

  • Replacement of broken parts immediately upon request.
  • Our web-site has detailed instructions on how to replace broken feet. Our reliable breakaway feet can be retrofitted onto other fences currently on the market.
  • 5 Year Warranties  (Mesh, Breakaway, Other parts). We always stand behind our product. You will never get back-talk or refusal to cooperate
  • Upon request, we will repair your fence to like new condition for $15.00 each plus parts and freight.
