The above lengths will fence a field in a standard arc from foul line to foul line at the distance shown. A standard arc means that the distance from home plate to the fence is the same at all locations. In order to keep balls in play that are hit fair up the line and then roll foul, we suggest the purchase of at least two or four additional panels to extend the fence into foul territory.
If your fence needs to be deeper than 400 feet from home plate, multiply the desired distance in feet from home plate by .16, and that will give the number of panels required.
